An awareness seminar on health preservation and first aid was held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 10 AM at Abdul Rashid Khalili High School, located in the Omid Sabz Township. This event was initiated by the faculties of Medical Sciences, Medical Technology, and the Clinical and Para clinical Departments of Khatam Al-Nabieen University(PBUH).
The program began with a recitation of the Holy Quran by one of the students. Following this, Mr. Jawadi, the director of the school, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of organizing such programs. Afterward, Dr. Mohammad Latif Nazari, the head of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, and Professor Hossein Rezaei, the head of the Clinical Department, spoke about the goals and necessity of enhancing students’ awareness regarding health preservation and first aid.
In the practical section of the seminar, medical students Dr. Farid Hazrat, Dr. Mahmood Alizadah, and Dr. Asadullah Jawadi provided theoretical and practical training on first aid. The content of this section included an introduction to the basic principles of first aid, training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques, and how to manage injuries and trauma.
Additionally, Mojtaba Haidari, a student of Medical Technology, discussed health topics such as the importance of personal and community hygiene, methods for disease prevention, and healthy nutrition.
At the end of the session, a question-and-answer segment was held, where students’ questions were addressed both theoretically and practically. The organizers of this program emphasized that such seminars play a crucial role in enhancing health awareness and the capabilities of students in dealing with urgent health issues, and similar programs will continue in the future.
