University Presidency

Dr. Shoja Hussain Mohseni is the President and a faculty member of Khatam Al-Nabieen University (PBUH). He was born on 24 Hoot 1366 (Solar Hijri) in the Murad Khani area of District 2, Kabul City. He is a faculty member and former head of the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Law and Political Science. Since 1404, he has served as President of Khatam Al-Nabieen University (PBUH).

Education:

  • Ph.D. in Public Policy, University of Tehran;
  • M.A. in International Relations, Khatam Al-Nabieen University (2015);
  • B.A. in Political Science, Khatam Al-Nabieen University (2013);
  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Islamic Azad University.

Academic and Teaching Experience:

Since 1395, Dr. Mohseni has been teaching Political Science and International Relations at Khatam Al-Nabieen University and several higher education institutions across Afghanistan. He has taught at undergraduate and graduate levels and has actively participated in academic supervision, educational programs, and research activities.

Executive and Managerial Positions:

  • President of Khatam Al-Nabieen University (since 2025);
  • Head of the Scientific Committee of the Institute for Peace, Media, and Good Governance (2017–2021);
  • Publisher of Bekhan Magazine;
  • Editor-in-Chief of Mojtaba Children’s Magazine.

Media and Research Activities:

In 2007, Dr. Mohseni completed media studies training at the IRIB University in Tehran. He has more than fourteen years of professional experience in national and international media, working in media management, news production, and program development. He has also published numerous articles on politics, international relations, governance, media, and social issues.
