The educational seminar “Success and Focus” was held on the morning of Wednesday, October 1, 2025, initiated by the Counseling Center and the Faculty of Medical Technology in collaboration with the Student Employment Center. The aim was to enhance the scientific and skill capacities of students at Khatam Al-Nabieen University(PBUH).
The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by one of the students from the Medical Technology department. Following this, Professor Ahmadzadah welcomed the students and guests and expressed gratitude for the cooperation of the Faculty of Medical Technology in organizing this scientific and educational seminar.
In the next segment, Dr. Mohammad Yousuf Rezaei, a faculty member, spoke on the topic of “Principles of Success.” He emphasized the fundamental role of family and the prayers of parents in a person’s success from a religious perspective, highlighting three key principles:
1. Regular Study: As an important factor in mental organization and academic progress;
1. Regular Attendance in Class: As a sign of personal discipline and a prerequisite for effective learning; As a sign of personal discipline and a prerequisite for effective learning;
3. Regular Note-taking: 1. As a tool for consolidating knowledge and skills.
Dr. Rezaei noted that successful students maintain separate notebooks for each subject and record their notes in an organized and structured manner.
In the second part of the program, Dr. Ahmadzadeh addressed the topic of focus and demonstrated a practical focus exercise with one of the students, explaining the importance of this skill for the intellectual and academic growth of students. He also conducted a focus test for the attendees, which was well-received.
He then introduced techniques for enhancing focus, which included methods such as “focusing attention,” “spider method,” “allowing distracting thoughts,” “marking distracting thoughts,” “break time,” “changing topics,” “reward and encouragement,” “visualization for focus,” and “setting short-term and time-bound goals.”
At the end of the program, questions from students were answered, and the final evaluation of the seminar indicated that most participants expressed satisfaction with the educational content and its delivery.
