About the International Affairs Directorate
The International Affairs Directorate operates under the supervision of the Public Relations and International Affairs Administration of the University. Its primary responsibilities include establishing connections with foreign institutions and promoting a positive image of the university internationally.
Competencies and Responsibilities of the International Affairs Directorate
- Promoting a positive reputation of Khatam al-Nabieen(PBUH) University among foreign universities and countries;
- Identifying reputable academic institutions worldwide and facilitating collaborations;
- Conducting international advertising and promotional activities for the university;
- Negotiating and implementing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with international partners;
- Collaborating with other university departments to establish connections with foreign institutions;
- Developing mutual collaborations with international scientific and research organizations;
- Studying, identifying, and evaluating international conferences relevant to the university’s activities and facilitating participation;
- Exploring short-term, mid-term, and long-term educational and research opportunities with international organizations and coordinating with university officials to leverage these opportunities for students and faculty;
- Assessing the feasibility of opening university representative offices abroad in compliance with laws and regulations;
- Planning for the university’s membership in international academic associations and managing membership fees and active participation;
- Attracting study and scholarship opportunities for students and faculty and facilitating faculty and researcher exchanges with international universities and institutions;
- Identifying foreign research centers active in Afghanistan-related studies and attracting joint research projects.
