Qualifications and Responsibilities of Financial Management
  1. Maintaining accurate financial records at all times;
  2. Completing tax-related activities in compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, and preparing necessary files;
  3. Supervising finance staff and preparing bank reconciliation statements;
  4. Collaborating with the Deputy of Administration & Finance to design and implement internal financial controls for proper fiscal management;
  5. Reviewing and approving performance reports of faculty and staff;
  6. Comparing monthly financial reports with budget allocations to ensure compliance;
  7. Verifying attendance sheets and payroll tables to confirm accuracy of hours, deductions, and payments;
  8. Ensuring correct entries in payroll columns;
  9. Overseeing updates to the university’s fixed assets register;
  10. Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports to the Administration & Financial Vice-President;
