  • Representative of the Master’s Programs Board of Khatam Al-Nabieen University at the Directorate of Academic Program Development, Ministry of Higher Education, from 2023 to present;
  • Professor of Foreign Languages at the Kateer Al-Rashtawi Institute, Kabul, in 2018;
  • Head of the English Department and Professor at the Ba’ath Educational Center from 2015 to 2017;
  • Cultural and civil society activist.

The duties of the main Planning and Policy Committee are divided into two sections: “Decision-Making and Executive Activities” based on the committee’s bylaws.
Decisions are made in the committee, and all executive matters, including the follow-up of committee decisions and resolutions, are carried out by the relevant directorate.

    1. Preparing and approving the committee’s meeting calendar;
    2. Preparing and approving the committee’s operational plan;
    3. Reviewing the approval of committee members at the beginning of each academic year;
    4. Preparing the committee’s resolution records and implementation reports;
    5. Preparing the university’s operational plan implementation report for submission to the Supreme Council;
    6. Raising awareness about program content and implementation methods through consultation, collaboration, and coordination meetings;
    7. Aligning programs with other essential university documents;
    8. Guiding executive units as needed and upon request from the relevant department;
    9. Timely extraction, approval, and confirmation of annual indicators for executive units;
    10. Monitoring the development and alignment of departmental strategic and operational plans with the university’s strategic plan;
    11. Monitoring the proper implementation of activities listed in the operational plan across all departments;
    12. Ensuring university members move along the defined paths toward the vision, mission, goals, and values;
    13. Developing and implementing semester-based and annual monitoring and evaluation plans;
    14. Identifying content, structural, and executive obstacles and challenges in the strategic plan;
    15. Identifying members with superior thinking, skills, or greater commitment and loyalty, and proposing material and moral incentives for them;
    16. Proposing revisions and adaptations to the strategic plan and programs in response to environmental changes and identifying corrective and compensatory actions;
    17. Establishing constructive communication between departments;
    18. Collaborating with the university’s financial committee on budgeting for the operational plan;
    19. Preparing quarterly and annual reports on strategy implementation, progress, and achievements;
    20. Following up and approving the annual operational plan implementation report for submission to the Directorate of Planning, Policy, and Legislation at the Ministry of Higher Education;
    21. Timely preparation, organization, and localization of all relevant committee forms and formats;
    22. Collaborating with the university’s evaluation team (committee);
    23. Comprehensive familiarity with the National Higher Education Strategic Plan, the institution’s strategic plan, and other important and essential documents.
