Introduction

The Faculty of Economics of Khatam Al-Nabieen University (PBUH), with the aim of producing knowledge and training specialists in the field of theorizing, macro-management of the national economy and the release of managerial staff for government departments and private sectors, on 6 /3 /2010 with official permission from the honorable ministry Afghanistan Higher Education was established and launched and started recruiting and accepting students in the spring of 2009. This faculty has two departments and organizes educational programs at the bachelor’s level in daily, half-day and evening hours in the fields of economics and business management. This university has had several graduate courses so far, some of whom are currently working as professors in different universities.

The Faculty of Economics of Khatam Al-Nabieen University (PBUH) has two departments.

1. Department of Business Economics – BBE

The Department of Business Economics, which is under the Faculty of Economics of Khatam Al-Nabieen University (PBUH), was established and launched on 12/15/2018 with an official license from the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan. This department organizes educational programs at the bachelor’s level in daily, half-day and evening hours in the fields of business economics. This department was built according to the needs of the society in the field of trade and commerce with the expertise of economic planning, calculation, statistics and management of economic and commercial organizations and has had 7 graduate courses so far.

In the long term horizon of 1405, the Department of Business Economics wants to gain the top position at the university and faculty level by providing educational services, standard research and consulting.

2. BBA Department of Business Management:

Business Administration (BBA) is a combination of economics and management knowledge. This department was established under the Faculty of Economics of Khatam Al-Nabieen University (PBUH) in 2008 with the official permission of the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan. The educational programs of the department of business management at the bachelor’s level in daily, half-day and night hours have been started in the year and it has started to attract and train students in this field. So far, this department has graduated nearly a hundred students in the field of business management. In the academic year of 1401, the number of students studying in this department reaches more than 60 people who are studying in different semesters. Department of Business Management operates with the purpose of business management and creative work production in the fields of managing economic and commercial institutions with specializations in business management, calculation, statistics and economic planning. This field is now one of the most popular fields in the world that attracts millions of students every day.

The Department of Business Management is trying to be the right place among the top five departments in the horizon of 1405, through education and research in the creation of science and technology, to train a faithful, educated, free-thinking, entrepreneurial force that believes in Islamic and Afghan values.

Introduction of educational programs:

The study period in business management is four years. Some students who get excellent average in different semesters have the possibility to graduate after 7 semesters. The four-year business management program is designed to meet the needs of young people who have completed twelve years of education (school) and are seeking professional training in the field of entrepreneurship, management profession, or higher education in the field of administration. and trade. This curriculum is a combination of general education such as; English language, mathematics, and Islamic studies; general management skills such as oral and written communication, decision-making, leadership, teamwork, and quantitative methods; The basic topics are related to the field, including finance, banking, marketing, human resource management, etc., and the optional topics are based on expertise. This program develops students’ talents for the future and enables them to create and maintain a balance between the goals of economic success and the increasing limits of social and environmental responsibility.

136 credits The Bachelor of Business Management program includes 136 credits, which is applied to the graduates of the 12th grade of high schools. Academic planning at Khatam al-Nabieen University (PBUH) is done in such a way that a student can naturally complete his course credits in 7 semesters and graduate in the 8th semester by writing and defending a monograph. The minimum credits required to graduate from the Bachelor of Business Administration course are 136 credits. In addition, it can be increased up to 140 credits at the discretion of the department’s educational group.
