Khatam Al-Nabieen (pbuh) University, Ghazni branch, organized a scientific-student seminar “Factors of drug addiction and ways to combat it”

The Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, in cooperation with the administration of the Department of Law and the cultural committees of the Faculties of Economics, Medical Medicine, and Law and Political Sciences, organized a student scientific seminar under the title “Factors of drug addiction and ways to combat it” on 30/7/1402 in the hall Abu Rihan held conferences.

This program was organized by the Faculty of Law and Political Science and partner departments to promote the culture of fighting against drugs and to raise awareness of the factors and areas of drug addiction.

This program was conducted by Mr. Mohammad Anwar Froutan, a 6th semester law student. The factors of drug addiction were examined by Dr. Mohammad Rahim Asghari, the head of the Faculty of Law and Political Science. He cited environmental, educational, hereditary and cultural ignorance factors as the most important causes of drug addiction and stated that promoting the culture of fighting against drugs, criminalizing cultivation and smuggling and using drugs in the laws National, on the other hand, as well as raising awareness about the factors of addiction and its dangerous consequences by scientific and cultural centers, is considered one of the most effective ways to fight the problem of addiction. Khairullah Taraki, a fourth semester law student, also examined the phenomenon of addiction in Afghanistan’s legal system and the 1988 Vienna Convention on Combating Drug and Psychotropic Trafficking and stated that one of the ways to combat the phenomenon of addiction is the determination of law enforcers in It is the implementation and enforcement of anti-narcotics laws.
