university;<\/li><li>One representative of the founder;<\/li><li>Two faculty members elected by direct and secret vote of the Academic Council;<\/li><li>Two prominent academic figures in accordance with the Civil Higher Education Law, selected by the Academic Council with the agreement of the university\u2019s founders;<\/li><\/ol><p><strong>Duties and Authorities of the Board of Trustees<\/strong><\/p><ol><li>Supervising the university\u2019s activities to achieve its overarching policies and goals;<\/li><li>Determining the university\u2019s overarching policies;<\/li><li>Appointing or dismissing the university\u2019s Chancellor based on the proposal of two-thirds of the Academic Council members;<\/li><li>Accepting the resignation of the university\u2019s President;<\/li><li>Reviewing the annual report of the university\u2019s President and making decisions to address issues and improve operations;<\/li><li>Reviewing the report of the Audit and Oversight Committee and providing feedback;<\/li><li>Amending and approving the university\u2019s statute;<\/li><li>Approving the awarding of honorary diplomas and academic
